Sahukhala ‘out of contact’

LALITPUR: Three Star Club striker Santosh Sahukhala is out of contact with the club. The striker was not included in the line-up for Saturday’s crucial match against Jhapa-XI and coach Rajendra Tamang said he was unaware of the striker’s whereabouts.

“He is not in contact with the club after the match against Army,” he added. Sahukhala, who was injured during their match against Tribhuvan Army Club on October 1, has not contacted the club since then. “We tried to contact him for treatment but he did not come in contact,” said Three Star General Secretary Sanjeeb Shilpakar.

Sahukhala the first striker to reach 100-goal mark in domestic league was suspended for the match against Jagadamba Lumbini FC, played on October 4, for accumulating two yellow cards, and he did not turn up for Saturday’s game against Jhapa.

“After he did not contact us, we tried to speak to him through his family members but they also did not give proper information,” Shilpakar added.
