Lalitpur, February 28
Satdobato Youth Club joined hands with Chinese sports kits production company, Li-Ning today. SYC President Kapil Rana Magar and China Trade Link Pvt Ltd CEO Rajen Maharjan exchanged the memorandum of understanding amidst a programme. As per the one-year deal, SYC will use kits of Li-Ning and UCAN brands in home and away matches respectively in the upcoming Martyrs Memorial A Division League.
SYC President Rana Magar thanked Li-Ning for the support and said the club was raring to go into the League, which is scheduled to begin on March 3. "This agreement has made us more excited in our journey," said Rana Magar. SYC finished fourth in the League in their maiden top flight journey last season.
China Trade Link CEO Maharjan said the SYC have been helping aspiring footballers from Southern part of Lalitpur to come to national level.
"I have emotional attachment with SYC and I am more than happy to be able to support the club," Maharjan said.
SYC, who are playing in the second season of the League, will face Machhindra FC in the final of the KP Oli Cup National Football Championship at the Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday.
