KATHMANDU: On March 14, members of the House of Commons, United Kingdom and the British International Investment (BII), led by Sarah Champion, chair of the International Development Committee, paid a visit to NMB Bank.
The purpose of their visit was to observe and share the views on the progresses made under the NMB and the bank's partnership with BII, and to learn more about the sustainable banking practices that have been implemented by the Bank, as per a press release.
Additionally, the two parties reviewed the commendable progress made in community development through hydropower projects.
They also engaged in a meaningful discussion about the empowerment of women and specially-abled individuals.
