KATHMANDU, MAY 27

All the 19 writ petitions against dissolution of House of Representatives that underwent a hearing on Thursday, have been sent to the Constitutional Bench.

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Cholendra Shumsher Rana, who had assigned the writs to his bench, ordered at the end of proceedings that the writs be sent to constitutional bench.

Hearing of the writs by the five-member bench led by the CJ has been scheduled for Friday.

These cases will now be heard along with eleven others, including the one filed by 146 lawmakers demanding appointment of NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba as PM.
