KATHMANDU, MARCH 10

The Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) has again called its standing committee meeting today.

The meeting is taking place at the party's central office in Parisdanda, Kathmandu.

Discussions regarding the present political scenario, Maoist Centre's current status and party strengthening, among other contemporary issues, will be carried out in the meeting.

The party on Tuesday had called its first meeting after Supreme Court quashed the 2018 unification of CPN-UML and CPN-MC with its verdict awarding Nepal Communist Party to Rishiram Kattel.

Meanwhile, Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led CPN-MC has started holding talks with political parties, including the Nepali Congress and Janata Samajwadi Party-Nepal, regarding formation of the new government, their coordination in the Parliament, implementation of the Constitution, and other political issues.
