KATHMANDU: At least 10 persons were injured in a bus accident at Dumkibas in Nawalparasi district in the wee hours of Sunday.

Among the injured Naresh Tharu (22) of Basgadhi, Bardiya district is said to be in critical condition.

Police said that the incident occurred when the bus (Na 5 Kha 4316) heading towards Kathmandu from Nepalgunj hit a wall nearby the road at around 1:30 am today.

All the injured were rushed to a hospital in the district for treatment.

Police said that they are searching for the driver who fled the scene after the incident.
