Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi today told the party's Central Working Committee meeting that the party should be clear that Nepal's relations with India was special and its relations with the northern neighbour China was friendly.
Nidhi's remarks were indicative of the close relations between Nepal and India, which are marked by kinship and close economic ties. Nepal also shares a long open border with India.
He told party leaders that the party should form task force to have its clear policies on foreign policy and national economy.
Mentioning the sorry state of the country's economy and foreign policy challenge in changing geopolitical situations, Nidhi said that the party should adopt concrete economic policies as well as foreign policy.
