Gandaki Province Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung has registered vote of confidence motion in the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, on Tuesday.
The Gandaki CM will take the floor test on Jestha 27 (Thursday).
Gurung who was appointed CM as leader of the biggest party of the province on May 12, is required by the Constitution to receive vote of confidence from the provincial assembly within a month of appointment.
The CM, as it was required inform the PA secretariat regarding the floor test two days before the day of the floor test, has already submitted a letter, informed secretary Hariraj Pokhrel at the Gandaki PA secretariat.
Earlier today, Sudurpaschim province Chief minister Trilochan Bhatta had passed the floor test after receiving 30 out of 51 votes.
