KATHMANDU, FEBRUARY 23

Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokhrel has said that the Supreme Court's verdict on the House Dissolution case should be accepted by one and all.

Pokhrel, who currently heads the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, said on Tuesday that everybody should respect the Apex Court's decision on the ongoing case, the hearing for which completed on February 19.

Speaking at a press meet organised by the Press Council, close to Oli-faction, in Chitwan today, the DPM said that since the system of separation of power is fundamental to a democratic system, the verdict of the court - whatever it may be - must be accepted by everyone.

The court is due to pronounce its decision on the case that has had the nation on a standstill since December, this week.
