KATHMANDU: New Diamond Youth Sports Club is organising the Bagmati Province New Diamond Cup U-18 Open National Women's Volleyball Championship at its newly-built courts in Chandragiri from February 21-25.

The organisers have expected a maximum of 12 teams in the tournament, which is supported by Nepal Volleyball Association, Bagmati Province Sports Development Council and Chandragiri Municipality.

The winners will receive Rs 500,000, while the runners-up will get Rs 250,000 and third-placed team will earn Rs 100,000.

The fourth-placed team will get consolation prize of Rs 50,000, while the best player of the tournament will receive Rs 25,000, whereas the best spiker, setter, blocker, server, defender and coach will get Rs 10,000 each. Also, the emerging player will receive Rs 15,000.
