BIRATNAGAR: Tribhuvan Army Club advanced to the final of the Shikhar Purush Girija Prasad Koirala Memorial National Hockey Tournament here at the Shahid Maidan on Sunday.
TAC defeated Madhesh Province 12-0 in the first semi-final match.
Roman Rana scored four goals and Kashi Raj Rai netted three for TAC, while Amar Bahadur Gurung, Ganesh Tamatta, Nitish Neupane, Pradeep Rajbanshi and Raju Babu Thapa Magar added one each. Ranjit Rana of TAC was named the player of the match.
TAC will face the winners of the second semi-final match between Nepal Police Club and Sudurpashchim Province.
Top three teams will receive Rs 75,000, Rs 41,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively.
